Hi there, my name’s Carina! I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University, and am following in my mother’s footsteps who was also a physio at Physio on Brunswick. Previously I have worked at Physio on Brunswick as a receptionist whilst studying my degree, and now I’m glad to be returning as a physiotherapist!

During my physio studies I worked for several soccer clubs as a sports trainer, helping with injuries on and off field. I also undertook practical experience in women’s and men’s health, paediatrics, and neurology at several hospitals including Lady Cilento and RBWH. Though I’ve mainly worked for soccer teams (and loved it!), this year I am excited to be involved in providing treatment for the Triton’s Water Polo team!

I have recently completed my full body dry needling course, taught by Leigh McCutcheon a well-renowned physiotherapist and can incorporate dry needling into physio appointments.

Personally, though I’ve never played water polo or soccer, I’ve grown up as a dancer and have more recently fallen in love with the sport of skiing.
